I used to dread hearing from my accountant.

Here's what changed…

I had a quarterly review call with my accountant this week.

And I want to talk about it, because the version of me from a few years ago would have absolutely dreaded that call.

Honestly? Anything to do with money in my beauty business used to make me anxious.

Accountants, numbers, quarterly reviews... I'd put it off, avoid it, bury my head completely.

And I know I'm not alone in that.

But here's what I had to get really honest with myself about.

The avoidance wasn't protecting me.

It was keeping me stuck.

I made a decision to actually dig into it. Not just the number, but why money felt so overwhelming to me.

Where that came from. What stories I was telling myself about it.

And I worked on it. Properly.

My money mindset, my relationship with the financial side of my business... I gave it the same energy I was giving everything else.

And I found an accountant who actually gets me. My business, my life, the way I work. That made more difference than I can even explain.

This weeks call? I went in feeling prepared.

Calm. In control.

And that felt massive... because I know how far that is from where I used to be.
